Im as big a floyd hater there is but im not biased. I had Floyd 8-4. anyone that had manny winning is delusional. I cant even see Manny getting 5 rounds.

 

African-Americans are having a bad time in society at present. Too many high-profile disgraces, too many injustices, too many bad apples spoiling public perception. That community really don't need any more famous representatives being taken down. Therefore, I understand why Floyd got the nod. The decision was political, probably made a long time before anyone stepped into that ring.

However, on the night, Floyd could have put in a bit of effort for more than 3 rounds. It just looked bad for all concerned. He had his own people giving him the finger and booing him after the fight, for goodness' sake! Standing on the ropes, gesticulating at them like Dr Strangelove and angrily shouting "I know I won" like he was trying to convince himself....he won't be in the running for an Academy Award any time soon, that's for sure. It was a lousy display.

I have my suspicions as to why Pac let Floyd off the hook so often, but even so, if this had not been treated like a boxing show trial, Pac would have won and it wouldn't have been close.

Didn't keep an actual score as I was too absorbed but I think it was 9-3 or at least 8-4.

Pacquiao won three rounds at most.
