Both similar fighters...both overprotected both beat aging HOF guys Hill,Hopkins.

both held the WBO title 20+ title fights (sorry the bogus WBO)

Dariuz was a strong dependable fighter. would be interesting

I wouldn't call Hill an aging fighter, he was 33 at the time and won the WBA title at 42.

So whats 'good technique'? Great fighters keep boxing fundamentals but find their own style. Roy Jones did a lot of thing 'techinically' wrong, as did Ali, Marciano, Leonard...take ya pick. Thing is, take DM's textbook away from him and he is as useless as a primary school teacher in a pub quiz!:deal

DM doesnt have the depth to beat a fighter like Calzaghe, he lacks a plan b of any sort.

The Italian Dragon UDs The Lech drinking Krout. :D

A Prime DM TKOs him in the late rounds (9-12)

DM would win by TKO while probably losing closely on points in the later rounds.
Too much strength and pressure for JC to handle add to that DM had a granite chin.
His punching technique is also very underrated and the speed on his left hook too.

DM by stoppage in 10th round. His jab would greatly trouble JC as would his strength and pressure.

Dariusz M wins imo, he was a damn good fighter, very strong around the 175 mark, 172 say wouldn't hurt him.

So Calzaghe gets knocked for not fighting RJJ at 175 in the US
But when it comes down to DM not going over to face him at his weight may I add, he gets a free ride.

Dariusz Michalczewski is the epitomy of a padded record.

Are there any DM fights available on the internet?
I want to be able to back up my prediction of an easy Calzaghe win with some solid reasoning.:D

    Michalczewski by late TKO.

Great body puncher and pressure fighter, his left hook would find Calzaghe eventually and that would be the beginning of the end.

Hill at 33 was in his prime.

    Hopkins at 43 was not.

I've got to say there seems to be alot of people saying DM stops JC late which I'd don't understand.Because one JC has never been close to being stopped and two he gets stronger as the fight goes on.
