I hope they never had this planned to make even more money from the fans it all looks like it. What do you think the chances of them trying to sell a rematch is?
The chances of them having a rematch are probably only slightly less than they were prior to the fight. Had the fight been close, a rematch would have already been announced!! But the fact that Mayweather won comfortably means that a little extra PR effort has to be put in before they can announce it. From a financial point of view, it is a no-brainer!! There is no fight for either man (especially Manny) that would gross anywhere near 50% of the rematch revenue. If Mayweather is a cherry-picking coward (as so many accuse him of being) then a Manny rematch is what he wants!! Another mega payday against a guy who he has just beat easily? Thank you very much. As for Pacquiao, he knows a Mayweather rematch isn't just his best financial option, it is also a fight that were he to lose, he is only going to get schooled for 12 rounds (there is certainly no spectre of another brutal ko attched to a rematch). Personally, I believe that Floyd probably had Cotto in his mind (grab the linear MW title, then hang them up) but money screams loudest in the boxing world. And for that reason a Pacquiao rematch is almost certainly being considered very seriously indeed.
Go into retirement FLOYD!! Watching you boxing is a joke.. Jab RUN.. Jab Run.. Jab RUN.. what a püssy are you?
Floyd would ask for 80/20 split since that is about the percentage of shots Pac landed. I think Pac gets KTFO in a rematch or completely outclassed again 11-1.
