A "fully focused Kevin Mitchell" could beat Floyd Mayweather and Sugar Ray Leonard to hear some of you talk.

Wasn't he supposed to be "really focused" for the Ricky Burns fight?

    Hope he wins though.

Proper 50/50 fight, but I just have a feeling Mitchell takes it. Linares was touted as few P4P champ a few years back but he just doesn't have the face or chin for it. A strong breeze would cut his face to bits.

Linares does cut but his stoppages have come from being cut rather than having a weak chin. Seriously all those who believe Mitchell can even win this fight let alone knock him out should take a long hard look at yourself. Linares is a far superior boxer to the very average Mitchell. You will know what I am talking about when Linares puts a boxing clinic on him.

If his face holds up, Linares should win this. On his day he is a great fighter. However, paper skin, not the greatest chin, laziness and the occasional mental fragility have cost him at times.

I also feel that Mitchell has lost a step. He has looked more hittable of late. His performance on the Froch-Groves II undercard last year was quite poor.

Mitchell ate Madumas punches and Maduma seems liek a much harder hitter at lightweight than Linares, Linares would have quit that fight, Mitchell hung in and ended up stopping his man

Linares has a ****ty chin and Mitchell has BIG power... Mitchell KO

and his last performance was not, I even called he would stop Estrada with an uppercut. With Linares, I'd say he dumps him with a left hook.

Could go any number of ways, actually. I can see a big splashy KO either way or a snooze fest going twelve.
