Pac showed me enough to make me believe that if he was younger it would be more competitive. He would go for broke, not like what he did now. Don't get me wrong, he could end up getting hurt by Mayweather, but IF he manages to take Floyd's shots like he did most of his opponents (it wouldn't be out of the question), it would have been a very interesting fight. He showed me his hand speed is plenty to trouble Mayweather, and his power too. His footspeed was gone though.

Pac was never gonna be able to beat a boxer. i cant believe ppl thought he can beat Mayweather but could barely beat Marquez?? Floyd is a bigger, faster, more accurate, way better defensively Marquez!!

Ok I can see what you mean now. You're right that Pacquiao only makes people uncomfortable by throwing punches. He doesn't make you feel that way when not throwing.

My point was that his physical skillset has decreased. Making it harder for him to pressure you from a throwing punches standpoint.

Wrong again. When you're a volume puncher stamina is everything.

It's laughable your lack of knowledge when it comes to boxing.

I think that too. A Boxing travesty that we didn't see them fight 5 years ago, when Pacquiao could actually KO and not hold back.

And that's the reason why I think Mayweather avoided Pacquiao/didn't try hard enough for that fight to happen. Because Mayweather's style, winning on points and countering takes far far less strain on the body than what Pacquiao's does. Pacquiao is shot because of how he fights. Mayweather's style has had far less effect on his body than Pacquiao's style has had on his own, and when both got older, Mayweather declined a little whereas Pacquiao dipped far more. Mayweather knew that.

I agree. I don't know if Manny would have beaten Mayweather, but at this point Pac doesn't have the stamina to get it done.

After round 4 when we saw Pac start busting him up I thought he might have a chance.

But then Pac was like "F**K now I'm tired".

He never busted him up! see you just living in a fairy tale. u need to stop and just respect that Floyd is truly great and made Pac fight his fight and Pac went in there with the wrong gameplan

He stunned Floyd twice even though he landed little. If he could have taken Floyd's shots when he was younger, he could have made it very interesting if he went for broke. Like I said, it's not out of the question he could have done it, Floyd is not completely feather fisted but he's a relatively weak puncher.

I never said I'm 100% he would beat him. Everyone knows I'm a Pac fan but if I was forced to bet, I would have bet on Mayweather at any point in their careers.

You can't execute the gameplan if you don't have the stamina.

I was actually giving Mayweather credit by saying he was stunned rather than hurt buddy... Maybe he was actually hurt.

He was rattled badly enough that he retreated heavily.
