"One of the chess moves that I made was that I got Alex Ariza and brought him over to my team, because I know that he was a strong asset for Manny Pacquiao. I want to know a guy's weakness. My thing is this, I'm always going to put any fighter in discomfort, in the most uncomfortable position as possible, and that's gonna put me in the most comfortable position and put him in an uncomfortable position."

Proves that he ducked a prime Pac and only took the fight after the Marquez KO.

Had to use punk moves against Maidana (gloves) and Pac (cup, gloves, Ariza) and Marquez (weight) and Canelo (catchweight).

This is a disgraceful admission. A REAL champion doesn't act so desperately against their foes.

Floyd is quite dumb in the way he always gives this info out.

Like 'Maidana couldn't KO Broner who is really a blown up lightweight, what can he do to me?' Then even makes Maidana use different gloves.

Needing something and getting something isn't the same.

It's something I don't like much about the guy when he has the talent and ability to win regardless but it is what it is. The sparring partner story of paying them to stay at home was pretty pathetic but then again I read Manny Steward has done it before. It's another trick in the book. It does somewhat dilute his victories but he shows enough savvy in the ring to tell you he could win without the little mind games. I thought the Canelo catchweight, Maidana gloves and Pacquiao sparring partner hooplah were unsavoury.

He also beat De La Hoya against every advantage, close fight but he went in there and did it.

Every fighter on the A side seeks an advantage. Heck, Pacquiao fought fighters at a catchweights that favored him. There are many other A side fighters that do this also. Floyd is just been honest about it.
