Yea he did better, he blooded Floyd with a few jabs and in return took almost 50 more power shots and was on his way out in the final round!

Nonetheless Cotto struggled with Trout's size, couldn't cut of the ring probably, and ate straights pretty often. Geale is bigger, heavier stronger, more experienced, and more of a mover than Trout.

most of those who wanna see Cotto vs Floyd are Mayweather fans. WHY? They get to see Floyd possibly winning a MW title! that's all it is.

the first time around, scores were just a wide victory for Maywetther, easier than the scores Floyd got vs an injured pacquiao. I know this will be looked as trolling but it's fact. Now whether you guys think judges got it wrong, that's another question.

it's clear that you all just wanna see floyd go out by winning MW title, not really thinking Cotto will make it competitive.

In any event, as pointed out above, Cotto fight is unlikely. The other options seem remote to me. Facing thurman and khan present 0 reward/huge downside for Floyd and not much of a payday. Pac re-match may be his best option but likely won't be happing for many reasons.

Im thinking this is best time for Floyd to retire, seriously. He's 38, he doesn't want to follow in Roy Jones' foot steps.

Honestly, their first fight really wasn't competitive. I'd imagine in a rematch, Mayweather would beat him worse.

I think Cotto is fools gold at this juncture in his career, but he does have the lineal MW title so that would be a terrific achievement for Mayweather to pick up before he retires.

It makes sense even though it would be a more one sided fight than their first one. Miguel is way too slow for him now.

this was a good fight the first time and it should be for cotto's middleweight title. i hope it happens. make sense historically but it will probably be khan.

stop spewing nonsense, what i say make perfect sense. Fighting Khan or thurman makes LITTLE SENSE to me. Cotto seems out...

and only you and flo mos don't care about Pac anymore. HE was injured and you guys are really up in arms about this but it's FACT. I'm not saying PAC would win, but most likely a re-match would be more exciting, much more.

i wish that was the case. read calzaghe's bio on the hall of fame website. it talks about his 21 wbo title defenses like they are legit. that belt was bogus. joe wasn't but his title was.

btw, roy jones is usually not considered the linear champ at 175 so i don't know how joe is. the ring title went from roy, to tarver, to johnson, to tarver, to hopkins and then to joe. Zsolt Erdei would be considered linear champ by most when joe held the ring belt.

Makes sense, buck. This should be interesting. Cotto is all "new and improved", under Roach. And Roach gets yet another crack at Floyd. Great story line. I'm gettin kinda hyped now.

Dude im so hyped!!! I think Cotto can really get to Floyd. and the weight will be at a disadvangte for Floyd big time! Doesnt mean he cant win because he's a master but he's always said Cotto was the toughest and hardest puncher he ever faced. if Cotto can throw them body shots like he has since Roach has been with him, he could do some damage

If it were to happen, I'm sure it would be at the MGM.

But how cool would it be if FLoyd fought him at Madison Square Garden and beat him for the lineal Middlweight championship? That would be a beautiful milestone on his ATG resume.

Cotto looked like Provo in every fight since the Margo beat down, Cotto has already taken to much damage in the face that even in the with Rodriguez fight He looked bruised.
