He already have that before the fight. He missed sparring sessions. He has a sparring session for 12 rounds where he only uses his left. There are work outs where he don't do shadow boxing. There are pics of Pac's injury during the fight. I think it got worse when Floyd hold on to his right arm and try to twist it.

Watched the fight 4 times now and in Manny's corner between rounds never saw anyone working on, massaging his shoulder nor asking "How's the shoulder?" - "Is the shoulder still stiff?" - "Has the shoulder loosened yet" - "Can you continue Manny?" - "Is the shoulder preventing you from throwing?"...NOTHING!!!

    STRAIGHT BS!!!!

Same thing I was thinking, they paid the doctor to say that. There were certain rounds when Pacquiao was letting loose and you could tell he didn't have a shoulder problem.

Team Pac are at fault for letting Pacquiao fight. What a farce.

This why fight should have took place 5 years ago. FARCICAL.

Pacquiao might of been injured but when asked questions after the fight, he said he couldn't press because of the way Floyd was fighting, not because of his shoulder. Also he didn't seem in too much pain after the fight. I think Pacquiao might of hurt his shoulder but in no way was it bad enough to warrant such a poor performace. I think Pacquiao's ego is destroyed.

A torn rotator cuff is absolutely an injury that would warrant a bad performance. It would completely eradicate any jab or right cross in the center of the ring, not to mention catching Floyd with a right hook while sliding to his left to get away from the ropes when cornered.

Why do you think he limited his offensive ****nal to basically only when Floyd was near the ropes? If Marcos Maidana could land on Floyd then obviously a healthy Manny would be able to as well.

This injury is huge and just reference the Vitali Klitschko v. Chris Byrd match to see how the same injury affected him.

I don't believe Pacquiao has suffered such an injury to that extent. He said he injured his shoulder before the fight, let alone he was still talking confident about the fight.. Also Pacquiao boxed like he didn't suffer a torn rotator cuff, he still had his arms up to block punches and showed no emotional pain when throwing punches.

All they had was problems. First it was Pacquiao's calf and now his shoulder. He was still giving the old big I am though wasn't he, talking about how god will deliver floyd to his hands.

    Here's a far more logical scenario :

Pac talked so much about Jesus in the pre-fight because he was injured and knew how high the expectations were.

Ask yourself, when do people generally proclaim their love for the Lord? When things are going great or when things are a struggle?

Take your Money blinders off for a second and ask yourself that simple question.

Don't get me wrong, we are all terribly disappointed that Manny wasn't 100%. That sucks really bad for boxing fans. And sure Mayweather fans are going to play the whole "excuses" card. That's fine, but it also shows how emotionally invested people were to that fight.

It's fine to be disappointed. I am greatly disappointed that a fight this important was marred by an injury. It sucks. I HATE when there are excuses. But, at the same time, this isn't anywhere near as bad as Haye's toe.

This was definetly one of the top "nightmare scenarios" of this fight. At the same time, it shows just how people take it too far, like when Paulie Malignaggi idiotically stated that Manny was a sore loser or he was "making up" the injury.

That's complete BS Paulie. No one can seriously think that Manny simply made up the injury to use as an excuse. In fact, I listened to the post fight Press Conference and Manny never said anything about the shoulder, it was roach who said that.

So yeah, it sucks and Floyd fans have every right to gloat and make fun of Manny, we are all disappointed but lets not make up stuff and say that Manny simply was using it as an excuse. Injuries are a part of the game, and had Manny pulled out of the fight / delayed the fight due to injury it would have been just as bad if not worse.

Bottom line, it sucks donkey ba lls that Manny was injured, it sucks for everyone not just Manny but lets not get crazy and act like Manny was just making it up to use it as an excuse. An injury was an injury. Even in David Haye's case, I don't think anyone actually doubts he had a broken toe. That was far more funny and embarrassing and it's not even close lol.
