When you have a woman headlining a PPV event then you know the UFC is becoming a farce.

UFC has been dying since 2009 and the nail was put on the coffin once Brock Lesnar retired and went back to WWE..

The last super fight I've seen or heard other people talking about was the GSP/Penn rematch 6 years ago..

The sport is so bad, they depend on a woman to get them ratings..

    :rofl

Not only that, steroids are running rampant in the UFC. It seems like every other fighter is getting caught with steroids. It's gotten so bad that UFC fans accept it as being normal..

She is good, FOR A WOMAN. The very best, elite level female athletes are vastly inferior in every single department to even the most mediocre, low level men, which is why female sports play second fiddle by some way to male sports.

Plus most of these female fighters get hyped because of their looks. You've had Gina Carano, Ronda Rousey and now it seems Paige Vanzant is next, if these women were better, but ugly (like Cyborg) then Dana White wouldn't give a damn about them and no one would know who they are.

She is popular because she stops fights, her male counter parts don't finish fights via armbar in the first round. I have done Judo all my life ; her technique is world class.

Many dudes here seem to take offense of a female getting lime light in a combative sport.

    Insecurity much?

Her looks play a big part in. Just look at Paige Vanzant, she's terrible yet is now being hyped because she's attractive. Dana White even said she would beat Mayweather:rofl

Plus look at who it is Rousey is fighting, it's a very, very poor standard. If that satisfies you as a fighting spectacle then that's up to you, but it's not for me. It's nothing to do with taking offense at a female getting the lime light in a combative sport.

I don't find that much *** appeal in any of them, they are ok.The main reason is that she finishes fights.Rousey threads get more attention in this mma forum than any other subject for a reason.Even boxing purist find intrigue .

Preach. I dont know how these MMA freaks can attack the state of boxing with a straight face when within their own sport all the drugged up human cokk fighters are being upstaged by a 135 lb woman.
Ronda's fights literally generates more buzz than any of the men on the current UFC.

Two DIFFERENT SPORTS!! But if we are playing the comparison game, both sports are alive and well, neither is dead nor going anywhere. Both sports have steroid users and weak PPVs. Personally I love both sports, but i was more satisfied with MAY-PAC's glorified light sparring session than Ronda's last 14 second fight.

stay at your chick Fighting we are all looking real fighting with boxing.
A sport that exists more then 100 years and will never die.

and when you say MMA is more near fighting because Boxers use only their fists, then is MMA no real fight because they fight without weapons like spears , swords like Gladiators in the Colloseum 2000 years ago.

we in germany say: where are you headed I forget my pocket. And thats is exactly with UFC and Boxing.

That would be PERFECT for this WWF-like farce. The UFC product - two guys rolling around the ground for five minutes - is so BORING in and of itself, they have to dress it up with WWE like trappings to draw in the testosterone fueled redneck meatheads that make up its fanbase. Why not bring actually WWF personnel?

Meanwhile, the REAL fight game - boxing - just had a hugely successful PPV event, and is riding high. UFC is going down the toilet - exactly where it belongs.:deal

Cause boxing promoters dont put on freak shows like celebrity boxing,Mickey Rourke ,Shaquile O'Neal etc..You guys are really grasping at straws here.I haven't really seen any valid arguments worth replying much.

Boxing is far from real fighting. When you see the bell ring and Floyd hugs Pac and the two have that look of "hey we just made a **** load of money" which signifies the farce that is boxing.Tell me this fight would have been the same if Pac was an unknown fighter climbing the ranks only making 6 figures.

All I saw on Saturday was two millionairs having a sparring session with neither one looking ambitious to say the lease. This was a business transaction and a show ;pure entertainment and nothing more.
