I've shadow boxed my imaginary friend more than 5 times. Didn't take any damage, which is equivalent to most of FMJ's fights...:D

He was defintly injured but it doesn't change the state of where they are at now...

Pac might as well retire. This injury is literally the start of what could be a horrific downfall.

It's still hilarious that 36+ year olds May & Pac can still totally dominate most fighters at 140 & 147. They are brilliant fighters...but they need to call it quits and stop shafting the public.

hahaha well we know that's what Floyd does every fight, but it's whether Manny is laughing at us as well that is up for debate.

My gut says no, that Manny was truly injured and is in a personal struggle despite getting rich.

Because you could have all the money in the world, but if you are truly injured and need surgury you're life isn't that great.

I'm not a boxer but I was excited as hell to see these two legends, I think Pacquiao has the better resume, this loss aside, but he won 3 rounds, 4 if you're generous. He got flummoxed and outscored and cannot fight at anything except mid-range and it was up to freddie to find a way around the jab and elusive bag of tricks floyd has since Pacquiao doesn't really adjust but overwhelms. They didn't come up with a very good gameplan to put it bluntly, he still threw the right with bad intentions, it wasn't the major reason he got comprehensively beaten. I think Pacquiao can beat Mayweather and would still give Manny 40% chance of victory, it was 45% before seeing them in the ring though.

Even if Pacquiao would have won, I would still be disappointed.... The entire energy for this fight was way off...

Perhaps the ease of May and the lack of urgency of Pac...the lack of an alternate plan, the lack of Pac to close May left side so he could not slide away when at the ropes....the lack of engaging from Pac...
I can go on and on...

I think you are just saying that because that's what your favorite fighter Floyd gets accused of and you don't like it so you accuse Manny of that same thing. Show me I'm wrong.

He knew he didn't win it. 'He ran, he did nothing' yet has studied Floyd for 5 years and mocked his technique at every opportunity, you can't say 'he ran' when you've prepared exclusively for that probability and understand how he dismantles, avoids and outpoints people.

I think the injury was real.
    It doesn't really matter though.
I saw the fight was fake. I saw that Mayweather took it easy. Pacquiao, I'm not sure, but I saw him back off a few times too.

Hardly any punches landed in the whole fight.
Manny said "he did nothing", and most people agreed, but were thinking "yeah, but you did nothing too !" ... most of us felt Manny did even less than Floyd.

I saw they were both in fresh shape and barely scratched at the end of 12 rounds.
Two fierce rivals, with their history, a point to prove. And they chose to "be nice" to each other.

I saw Mayweather box a masterful game of just shading each round with a tap here or a tap there, pot shot with a counter, then back off.
    And Pacquiao plodded forward smiling.
Mayweather whispers something in his ear.
Mayweather shakes his head, to say "I'm not hurt", or is he saying "easy, Manny!, easy".

It was such a timid affair how can anyone say this was a REAL FIGHT ?

This was a good old-fashioned fake. It takes a lot of skill, so you have to appreciate it, but it wasn't a real fight.

Can't be disappointed if you expected this ..This was a typical MW fight

This is why I didn't buy this **** but did Goto to a hell of a fight party which entertained a hell of allot more than the fight itself !

it all sounds like a huge planned out scam, i told myself i will never order another may ppv and i hope i trust my instincts. that was the biggest rip off, i paid 100 bucks to watch mayweather fight like a *****. that is not entertainment worthy of 100 bucks. hopefully there is some truth to pac hurting his shoulder because i had it 3-3 after 6, one can only hope that it was true pac wasn't 100 percent and he would give a way better performance next time because we all know may won't.

That's what the argument will be by lawyers. He basically just wanted the money and they hid facts. It's not that easy to move that kind of money around and USA is sadly a litigious happy country. We have more attorneys than flies. People win millions from slipping on a floor (their own stupidity) at a McDonalds.
