I think Pac did better than a lot are giving credit for, he countered Floyd well at times and did hurt him 2-3 times despite not landing very much (people seem to have forgotten that Floyd was rocked on a few occasions, not majorly but certainly to a extent.) And Maweather wasn't landing much in some rounds despite making Pac miss.

What I was most disappointed with though was Pac's footwork. I knew after about a minute of round one that he was in big trouble: He was so flat-footed, I don't know if it was the gameplan or not but I do think he is well past-prime, injury or not: His stamina isn't the same (can't fight for full 3mins of a round) and his footwork wasn't what it once was. He faded in the final 2 rounds and didn't put the push on that he needed too.

Yes because he was fighting a defensive wizard.

Lesser fighters would have been hit

I think it is more so to do with being past prime

I saw skysports interview Tyson immediately after the fight.... He referred to Floyd as invincible....that this was his era and he didn't think he could be beaten.

Carl Froch said he wished he had Floyd's skills, and instead he has to use his heart, grit and chin to overcome fighters.

Mayweather won comfortably - he didn't dominate - but he showed Pacman that boxing skilfully is better than fighting courageously.
