About 10th, in my opinion. A smudge behind Ray Leonard and Duran but a smude in front of Benny Leonard, Whitaker and Tunney.

Unforgiven That list is nice and all but unrealistic. Some of those old-time fighters on that list would've been embarrassed had they ever shared a ring with Mayweather.

Low hands, lack of combination punching, wide punches...mayweather would have carved those fighters up. Not their fault...boxing has evolved since..

Mayweather clearly belongs up there with the best ever. Head to Head he would beat almost all in history 130-140.

Greatness doesn't just come down to head-to-head ability, Suzie. It comes down to many factors of which Mayweather is lacking.
He belongs up there with the best ever where boxing ability is concerned. But all things considered, he isn't as great.
Greatest and best are two different things.

He has the resume for me. People have a lot of excuses for mayweathers opponents being "over the hill"

your excuse making for pacquaio was the worst. Floyd at 38 only a " little past his prime" while pac at 36 is "way past his prime" is funny stuff.

I helped form that list under a different name. It was an amazing experience. Saddler shouldn't be Top 4 though.

Just on head-to-head factor alone, Mayweather would lose to Robinson, Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Whitaker, probably Napoles, maybe Griffith if fit and ready. Rodriguez would put him through a lot of trouble.

This is certainly a lot more reasonable than some who have FORTY or more fighters ahead of him.

Part of Mayweathers resume when people don't make excuses

    Let's stick to facts

Cotto- Won the Linear Middleweight Title AFTER Mayweather beat him

Pacquaio- number 3 p4p in the world. # 1 welterweight by Ring Magazine entering the fight. Defeated number 3 p4p Tim Bradley one year prior.

Mosley- The welterweight champion of the world. Coming off destruction of Antonio Margarito.

Marquez- Recorded his career best win over Pacquaio AFTER the Mayweather fight. Won the lightweight and welterweight championships of the world AFTER the Mayweather fight. Top 5 rated p4p entering the Mayweather fight.

Canelo- 42-0 top 10 p4p entering the fight. The junior middleweight champion of the world.

I only mention these guys because this is where all the excuses come from

It requires that level of scrutiny. I refuse to say Pacquiao is the prime Pacquiao. Mayweather's resume looks lacking to me. A diluted era.
I bet you give Pacquiao full credit for the win over De La Hoya. I don't even count that victory on Pac's resume.

Both are past their prime. However both are pound for pound fighters in the world so Mayweather schooling pacman gives him another win over the best in the world

    No.
The facts like that are just smoke in mirrors.
You may as well say 'Mayweather beat 18 world champions'.
