I saw a post on another forum about the 12 punch combination Manny threw while Floyd was on the ropes. He threw them then backed up like Roach advised to avoid what Roach called hanging around too long. I was just wondering if anyone saw how many of those landed. Keep in mind I gave Manny the round, but all I saw connect was the punch that started it all, and a nice body shot before he backed off
Roach really screwed Manny. His gameplan was awful. Counter a counterpuncher? And just throw 1 and 2 in the pocket? Floyd counters 1,2 shots. He covers up if it's more and that clip showed it.
some landed and some blocked, thats how it is, but floyd was hurt and that was not from a punch which looked like it was carry a lot of power, kinda like how mosely described the power from manny's shots, like "what was that from?" But manny backing up was silly and wasnt the first time it happened in the fight
Roach over coached. If I'm coaching Pac in that one I tell him punch hard punch often, and prepare to be countered.
Roach had manny overthinking Floyd's counters when he should've just been relying on his instincts, the very thing that got him to where he is today.
Except for the 1st straight left. He blocked all of the body shots. and waved Pac back for more. No way was he hurt. Pac was reaching when he landed that 1st shot. Floyd was leaning back. Floyd covered up as to see what Pac had. It wasnt much.
