Two counter punchers rarely make an entertaining affair to the clueless fan.

    Do not agree.
Id see Hagler v Hearns anyday over Mayweather v Ward.

Id see Hagler Hearns over any fight . . . . . whats your point

    That being said Ward weighs 168 . . . . . . . 3 divisions higher than Floyd!

Wouldn't take long, Ward is far from a puncher but too big for Floyd.
He would clinch both Floyd's arms with his left and beat him into submission with his right. Ward TKO4

Just a simple answer to this "Two counter punchers rarely make an entertaining affair to the clueless fan"

I dont consider my self a clueless fan. Yes I enjoyed seeing Floyd counter that right, but I still overall thought the fight was boring.

So if I would rate from 1-5, then Mayweather vs Pac gets 1 and Hagler Hearns 5

Both of them wouldn't be anywhere near the best, what's the point?

They would both be at uncharted territories, both never being at that weight class.

Ward is enormous. I took a picture next to him and he not only towered over me, he is much thicker. Floyd is my size exactly, even to bone thickness more or less. It would be a terrible size mismatch and should never happen. If i didnt know better I would start a fight with Floyd without thinking twice, but i would back off from Ward. Huge huge size difference

They both go in for a spontaneous clinch in the middle of the ring, bam! Unintentional head butt and double KO.

What a comically terrible comparison. Hagler is more of an aggressor and occasionally boxer puncher than he is a pure defensive counter puncher. Hearns isn't a pure defensive stylist either though can adapt when necessary but isn't purely based on defense.
