I don't think so. Good puncher but I don't see him catching Canelo with one wild shot and that's that. He usually has to beat the hell out of the other guy. At least that's what's happened vs his better opponents.

 

Alvarez by KO...NON drained canelo is a beast.

 

Oh yeah I don't see him KOing Canelo either but I do think its possible

I don't even think that Golovkin could blast Canelo out with one shot though

but kirkland has serious pop and I do think he makes the cut for KO artist

 

I Think Kirkland can win this. I am 50/50 . I think it will be close. Cannot wait!

 

I honestly don't see this ending in a stoppage (yes I'm one of the crazy ones). I see Canelo winning a fight, that will be tough for the first half, by UD. I hope there will be blood for the blood god though

 

Canelo by first round TKO or Kirkland brutal 8th round TKO

 

Does Kirkland come on strong (or rather does not fade) in the later rounds? I though he was more of a first half of the fight kind of fighter?

 

canelo by tko inside of 6 rounds in a very one sided non competitive fight.
we are talking an elite level fighter with a career journeyman, how could ANYONE pick Kirkland to be dangerous, look at the level of fighter canelo has been dealing with for years.

james has never been in the ring with anything close to canelos top 3,4,4 opponents

I just cannot see this fight going past 8. Both guys are beasts and Kirkland will press and maul and Canelo will time him coming in and drop him with a how or uppercut. :bbb
