If they were to fight again, it wouldn't even reach a million.

You got that statement ass backwards. Manny is the one who reeled them in. He is the one who was saying to anybody that would listen, that he was gonna knock Mayweather out and how he would walk through Mayweather's defense and how god had told him that he would deliver Floyd into his hands. He was laughing and joking, talking about " he wanna fight me? yes, yes". All the gullible people ate that shiit up. Pac reeled em in. Mayweather just delivered on a promise.

the funny thing is.... i think a re-match would get huge #'s too. Many will say 'fack this' but i bet that as fight nears, people will buy. You see, this is also like an event, more than anything. Bars were crowed, it was like a show...albeit a somewhat boring show

I wouldn't take no less than 40% if I were pacman. Floyd is not going to make anywhere near that amount against anybody...

Depending on how good Alvarez looks against Kirkland, I'd suggest that there's a chance Mayweather could make as much money in May-Alvarez II.

I think it's time we crown Mayweather as perhaps the greatest businessman in sports history. And this is coming from someone who hates him. Everything he has done -- the braggadocio, assaulting women, fake weed, the general douchebaggery -- led him to this triumph. I realized it an hour before the fight with Jim Gray. Even if Floyd somehow lost his "0", he wouldn't care. The ultimate goal of his life was to make nine figures in a single fight, win lose or draw.

I think we're seeing Broner trying to do the same thing. Get arrested, generally act like a degenerate, and cash in. Unfortunately, he's not very good, has already lost, and fans will eventually tire of him.

Look at the Twitter numbers on the broadcast. 68 % of the people picked Pacquiao to win. You have to figure most or all of those people were just hoping for Pac to win. And among the 32 % who voted for Floyd, a good portion were probably realistic and understood Pacquiao had no chance.

In conclusion, this shows that Mayweather might not even be a bad person. The domestic abuse, flamboyance, and the like was just cultivated to make him hateable while gaining him some credibility in the urban communities. I wouldn't be surprised if the women were in on it just to make him more popular. The guys in the stands yelling for him to "Pull a Ray Rice" on Pacquiao are emblematic of the people who generally like Mayweather's personality.

Congrats, Mr. Mayweather. Like Donald Trump, an ATG businessman but a turd of a human being.

FAIL at satire. MarkQ knows. God loves you. You keep driving the domestic violence angle. Did Floyd slap you around?

Unless they put a better undercard and lower the price, I ain't buyin that **** again. No gracias. Put Crawford, Maidana, Matthysse, Provo, etc someone like that that deserves the exposure and won't make fans have more negative reactions or feelings to a sport that already has a negative image.
