While the UFC has lost two of it's biggest super stars to scandals, can't organize a good event without injuries sidelining fighters and ruining the card, then there's all of the drug scandals, and the fact that they seem to think that excessive promoting of girl fights is a good idea and that their just as good as the guys. atsch

Anderson Silva vs Jone Jones
Ronda vs Cyborg

But now GSP is long gone, Anderson Silva is old and tarnished, and Jon Jones has self destructed. Nevermind superfight matchups they dont even have any stars left.

Ronda is really the only marketable one they have and Cyborg cant even make 135. Ronda vs any woman not named Cris Cyborg is gonna be viewed a mismatch.

Conor is getting some buzz. He's a character with exciting finishing style. But he's got a huge obstacle ahead of him this summer vs Aldo. Lets see how he does. If he gets waxed like some are expecting he's gonna be looked at as the MMA version of Adrien Broner - a lot of noise but no substance

 

LMAO. Come on bro. Your top draw is a woman. Think about that. What kind of pansy sport has a woman as their top draw? MMA is for meathead, tattoed, white skin head types who couldn't cut it in boxing.

 

In all fairness, and as a huge fan of both sports, I wouldn't give a Boxer, who has a legit world title, a chance in a fight against an MMA'er who is top 3-5 in the UFC.

It's alright saying 'they couldn't cut it', but if they were to have a fight, the Boxer would be getting owned pretty quickly. How's that for 'cutting it'?

Besides, there's pros and cons to both sports!

People knock the UFC for having a woman as the face of the organisation (for the record, I think she is a cu*t), but Mayweather - the face of Boxing - more or less weighs the same as her!

The most recent No.1 challenger to the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION was a maintenance man up until 8 months ago!

Guys like Floyd actually FIGHT FOR TWENTY YEARS and have nearly FIFTY FIGHTS and don't taste defeat? Utter nonsense.

 

Um kid, world champion boxers have no interest in learning how to roll around on the floor with other dudes. I'm not here to criticize another dude's se.xual preference but a grown man using his crotch to mount another grown man for a 5 figure payday isnt gonna be a world champion boxer's cup of tea.
Boxing is where an elite fighter can earn at least 7 figures in one night. Boxers will stick with their sport and happily leave the ground game alone unless its in the bedroom with a female.

 

There's a TON of strikers that would maul Boxers in a stand-up only fight.

You can go to the streets and ask random people who is Mike Tyson, Ali, Foreman, Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Roy Jones Jr., Klitschko´s.. and everybody know them.

Then ask who is a great MMA Fighter. Maybe some say Fedor but that was it.

 

You don't get it. You have a poor understanding of sports. A world champion boxer isnt gonna take valuable time from their more lucrative craft to learn how to compete in a different combat sport while taking a wicked pay cut in the process. It would be beyond stupid.

 

UFC is already dying. It was hugely popular in the mid-late 2000's when the ultimate fighter came out and they were pushing that whole it's new and so intense and all that ****. All that hype has died. The best fighter is a woman.

 

Hi first post ,MMA is imho dull dull dull i have not seen a decent fight for a long time ,and the increasingly empty arenas and free to air matches on TV i think are begining to tell its own story .
