    I know CST already did a thread on him, but what are your thoughts on him?

    I think he showed GREAT improvement in the Zewski fight, compared to the Claggett fight. His defense was better, and he got better at fighting on the outside.

    I wonder where he trains? Perhaps he is working more in U.S. gyms with experienced pro trainers.

    He's with Abel Sanchez. His first fight with him was the Zewski fight.

    I don't know, I'm not convinced. He seems to be an all around good boxer but lacks anything special.

    (and yeah, I know I was high on Zewkski and Panomarev beat him but it looks like I was overrating Zewski more than anything).

    If he stopped trying to be something he's not (namely, a combination of Pernell Whitaker and Roy Jones), and boxed disciplined behind a jab, he'd be a stylistic problem for most fighters. He moves well, has a good jab, can fight inside. Seems to have a very good chin also - Zewski landed some good shots and Kostya didn't even blink.
