Couldn't agree more. He should make a new martial art called 'Floyd Box' or something, with special emphasis on ducking below the waist, holding, escape and evade, basic 1-2 combinations with a pot shot with virtually no steam behind it, etc. just touching opponents with your gloves will convince the judges you're winning if you put enough emphasis on shelling up, with the confidence to go with it.

Effective? Yes. Boring? Hell yes. Is it even boxing? Technically, because it's sanctioned and he's in a ring with gloves on......but what Floyd does....... Can that even be described as boxing.

He's made a career of being negative, spoiling, picking fights always on his terms and most importantly, fights not to lose.

Yes, Mayweather makes great fighters look ordinary.

    Not really.

    Different style of fighter.

If Floyd had fought Canelo the way Kirkland did, he would not have made to out of the first round.

That said, Floyd would beat Kirkland.

It would take him a little longer (12 rounds) but he'd win.

When most people leave grumbling about the hype and money spent, which was the case, you tell me.

Floyd's win will look better and better. The way he beat Canelo was so impressive.

I expected Mayweather to win but not in the manner he did.

Money tamed and trained that tasmanian into a harmless lap dog.
