SHOWTIME- Mayweather vs Pacquiao EPILOGUE full episode

Much more fun to watch than the fight.
I dont mind a boring, tactical fight but it being Floyd vs Manny and both being past prime, leaves a bad taste.

 

What I found interesting is in between rounds you never once hear Freddie ask Manny how's his shoulder. I don't care what anyone says if you know a fighters got a badly injured shoulder you would at least discuss it in the corner. He also kept telling Manny to throw combinations. This happened even in the final round. His injured shoulder really affected him my ****.I don't buy it at all

 

Exactly, and I was rooting for Pac too. Kind of depressing

 

That's was my take on it, but if they guy is truly getting operated on than I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have some type of injury.

 

But he had the injury for years. Bob arum admitted in happened in 2008 but they chose not to get surgery. Unless you have a complete tear, you can rehab a rotator cuff and be fine. I think manny finally decided to get the surgery because it gave him a excuse

 

He didn't ask a question he already knew the answer to. The shoulder was hurting bad.

Thats what happens when you refuse to fight for five years and you get a 36yr old vs a 38yr old. The wheels come off.

If this fight was "easy work" and "118-110" why was Floyd Sr saying Mayweather was "losing" and he needed to "pick it up"?

 

That is exactly my take on the situation too. I believe he was able to manage the problem like he has done since 2008 but because it was Mayweather he lost to it gave him the excuse to have the operation now so that people would think he was genuinely injured. Now unless you're a proper Pacman nuthugger there is no way you can make a case for Roach and the team not discussing Manny's injured shoulder between rounds. You also wouldn't be telling him to continue throwing combinations throughout the fight.

 

Indeed. Andre Ward apparently had an ACL injury ever since he was 15, and only got surgery before the Rodriguez fight

 

His was not severe like Pac :hi:
