I told people for years that pbf was faster and had better footwork than PAC

I for one, was watching the fight, enjoying the technical level, and not going for the mainstream decided consensus. I have watched so many fights during the last decade. This fight was never 118-110, unless you are extremely biased, almost every round was close and competetive, but low output from BOTH fighters.

 

I think you're confusing speed for quickness.

Mayweather is probably not faster than Pacquiao, but he is alot quicker.

You're overrating Mayweather based on his fights with Marquez and Pacquiao, in both fights in whick size had alot to do with the way the fights developed.
You have said that size did'nt matter, but it does matter when an undersized fighter not as big or physically strong cant use that strenghth to overcome disadvantages in things such as quickness, speed, height and reach.

It was'nt all about just skill, if Marquez had the height, natural speed and quickness of Mayweather, it would have been a completely different fight with the skill level of Marquez who btw was able to consistently hammer Pacquiao more then what Mayweather was able to.

 

Pacquiao's always been a fighter who relied heavily on his athleticism.

There's haters on both sides and you're obviously on one of those sides. If I were on a cruise, with all of ESB aboard, the number of people I would talk boxing with in this forum is less than a handful.

Calm down. He beat a guy 2 1/2 inches shorter that had a 6 inch reach disadvantage and needed surgery for his shoulder.

Floyd skipped on fighting legitimate fighters that can beat him due to styles.

Maidana fight was close too, difference between that fight and this, was that PAC landed significant punches (although not a lot) and Floyd landed many light punches (or touches). Maidana fight (#1), Maidana should have won by the same scoring system (more landed but not significant punches).
