Just Because An Opponent Has Lost Or Isn't A Name Doesn't Invariably Make Them A Bum.

Agreed...names like Guerrero, Rios, Bradley, etc are NOT bums....and if a guy is an unknown with a "0" to me it just means he hasn't had his opportunity yet

Darnell Boone, Sakio Bika and of course the immortal Road Warrior are fine examples

Welcome to the fickle, unstable and downright ridiculous world of boxing forums.
Where everyone's an expert and anyone who loses a round is deemed "damaged goods".

I shlt you not, my friend.

There's a difference between being a coward and not wanting to face a particular opponent. I weigh 175 lbs, but am I interested in facing Fonfara as Adonis did? F*ck no!!! Adonis isn't a coward, he just doesn't want to fight the Krusher.

Side note: I am, in fact, a coward. I could give you a list of several thousand professional boxers I would be scared of fighting. Many of them flyweights or long since retired, senior citizens.

You're the worst one for it. Everyone who's not been on HBO & Showtime is a bum. Hence why you think hype-job Porter is Brook's best opponent.

Recently had someone tell me "Takayama aint ****, no one knows about Yaegashi and Rodriguez is a bum" when regarding Roman Gonzalez's resume. I decided I'd let them live in their own world of misguided foolishness.

Haha I knew someone had to point out the irony of a man with the tagline "master of Brits and euros" endorsing a thread that made a point about not writing off Europeans as Eurobums.

Not trying to give you a hard time, Ellerbe. I think you're a good chap. But you do tend to sell some Europeans (particularly Brits) short.
