I know ppl close to Porter who have known him since he was about 14-16.

    He's a natural 160+ fighter.

He's already draining to make 147.

    This could be catastrophic.:-(

Broner just doesn't have the skill set of the special one, the special one showed how to beat porter and broner isn't capable of that. Broner quits on stool in the tenth

Porter better skilled than Maidana? I can't see Porter doing the same Chino did with Mayweather x2 and Broner. Actually Maidana has improved his skills immensely and that's why he's performed better than expected. If anything, Porter is the one that badly needs to improve on his skills. He's very strong and fast, but his bobbing and weaving is bad and fights way too aggressive, always trying to overpower his opponents. The potential is there, he could turn out to be a very good pressure fighter which is rare nowadays, but his defense and jab is lacking. Doesn't use smart pressure. If he did, Porter would be a real threat to anyone at 147.

Good move by broner, but I don't think it will be enough. Porter most likely by ud.

These weight agreements are ridiculous. Fight at the division.

What's the odds Broner comes in heavy anyway?

I like this fight, it's one of those ones fights I can sit back, relax and hope for carnage and I really couldn't care who wins because I do not like either of them.

This fight is an example of every thing that is wrong with this sport. This is just another pointless 'catch weight' fight that cheapens the sport. Just fight at 147 and be done with it. The 2nd day weigh in is also disgraceful. What a joke this fight is. Needs to be an asterisk by the result for such ridiculous demands\circumstances.

Haymon is at something with the weights I'd say catch weights are just goin to be the regular and might even make some them weight class belt pointless
