Simply sharing citizenship with someone doesn't automatically entitle them to your support.

Note the word purely. That means he fights only to win, to maximize his business. Sure, everyone wants to win and make a buck, however, virtually all fighters recognize boxing is a spectator sport and give you a show, especially when boos rise. Floyd will happily circle in the last round when getting jeered from the rafters. This says something about his character beyond talent. Character is why we're first drawn to this sport.

Between talking the good fight and this highly economic boxing to protect his zero Floyd essentially bullies the spectator. He did not always (stubbornly) remain in second gear.

After all the accusations against him regarding Pacquiao you'd have thought a statement might tickle him. Instead he fought like a man with nothing to prove and played it as close to the margins as possible.

*This is no defence for Pacquiao who was also to blame in want turned out to be a 36 minute, highly-lucrative handshake.

Yep because none of the popular and most marketable athletes in the NBA, NFL, and MLB are black. Americans also hate all black musicians and actors too, cmon son.

He IS a man with nothing to prove! The guy has been fighting since he was a kid. He has been a pro for damn near 20 years. He's 38! Exactly what does he have to prove at his point when he's a year away from retirement?

And notice how I mention how it seems some fans just don't pay attention to a fighter's physical abilities. Floyd DOES NOT have the power he did at the lower weights. And his hands are brittle. This has been a problem for years. So what do you want from him now. To just forget about all that and just start swinging away and pray his hands hold up. Come on now.

Fighter Of The Decade is just an accolade; has no real bearing on how a career pans out...Case in point, many boxing historians have Harry Greb ranked over Benny Leonard, but it was Leonard who was voted Boxer of the Decade over Greb...!!!

More importantly, #48 won FOTD because someone went on vacation. He won it by default. Floyd left no doubt FOTD is a dudu award.

#48 can win 100 FOTD awards, 100 division titles and he still loses 100 times to Floyd.

Well I could just imagine what a horrendous sh!t fest of a fight it looked like from the nose bleed seats. It looked like someone running circles from corner to corner.

Mayweather did not beat Pacquaio LEGITIMATELY!! . It took a tag team of NSAC, USADA & Froid to squeak out a 115-113 win
Forget the 118-110 & 117-111 their cards must have been filled out prior to opening bell.
If Floyd is the TBE he claims to be why wont he ever give an opponent a level playing field. Hell he had an honest referee by mistake ,Tony Wilkes, & got his ass kicked. He went ballistic complaining Wilkes let Maidana " Rough him up & Bully him" :| ROFLMAO Someone needs to tell Froid this is prize fighting not dancing with the stars. Bayless was brought in for the rematch & the rest is history
Be a MAN just for once Froid fight an opponent on neutral soil with no Vegas/NSAC corruption An even fair fight with HONEST !! officials. I know Fight Khan in Wembley Stadium in September
