Monroe Jr is a dangerous fight for GGG

I believe this is what the fight is about. They want to see him perform against this style, to see how he looks.

 

Kassim Ouma gave GGG a lot of problems and was the last southpaw GGG faced and this fight was stopped premature.

 

As soon as he stops moving, he is gone.

 

I hope you're not being sarcastic here while silently at night soiling yourself over HBO's highlights of GGG dismantling bus drivers and cabbies into reconsidering finishing high school. Alvarez has already fought the likes of Lara, Mayweather, Kirkland, Angulo, Trout, Lopez, Mosley and many others. Abraham fought the likes of Ikeke(a P4P fighter back then and reigning IBF Champion), Miranda x2(fought a prime undefeated Miranda with a broken jaw), Stieglitz x3, Ward, Taylor, Dirrell, Ayala, Marquez and many more.

Do you honestly want to compare GGG, who's biggest win to date remains Murray(his recent fight), to these fighters?. Idiot.

it could be a dangerous fight for GGG, he could hit Monroe so many times he might injure his hands.

Monroe Jr may well be awkward or even spoil for a few rounds but GGG will eventually catch up with him.

Personally I think it will be over before half way.

 

Thats what makes it a dangerous fight IMO.

GGGs never faced a guy both BIGGER and FASTER than him, and a SP with a pretty wicked lead L hand.

His fight with Ouma was an outright war of attrition. If either one were top 5 MWs at that time, it would have easily been FOTY material.

Monroe, unlike Ouma, is slick and powerful. His KO% does him injustice b/c he lets opponents off the hook after he stings em. (Might be fear of retribution and lack of confidence in his punch resistance, IDK)

But as you suggest....if he gets on that bike and fights off the backfoot, he could tie GGG up on the inside and keep the FIGHT at a distance that GGG can win at.

Winning rds is not something GGG opponents have gotten accustomed to.

How will GGG handle himself knowing he's down 6 rds going into the 7th.:think
