Fury said that in the hope that it would force Vlad to fight him. For all we know, it may have.

This fight is awesome. It's a huge HW champ fighting a guy who is actually slightly bigger than him.

    It's like Godzilla vs Mecha-Godzilla!

Wlad has never ducked a single fighter, never avoided a single mandatory challenger, always defended his belts. You think Fury had to "force Wlad" so Wlad defends against him after Fury was made mandatory? Seriously that's quite rich.

What's quite rich is that from 2009 until 2011 wlad wanted to fight Fury but since 2012 he has avoided Fury at all costs

Wlad is very smart and nobody can ever deny that

    Think about it

This. I'm a big Fury fan too, but Wlad is going to embarrass him. Hope Fury doesn't get discouraged by this loss, he can still achieve big things in the post-Klitschko era.

Yep. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it is inside 3.

I think Fury is good for boxing though and enjoy his antics, but he is in way over his head with this one.

Styles make fights and Waldo underperformed. Fury better be moving and attack from angles all night long. Wlad isn't as offensively dominant when somebody is constantly moving like Jennings, Haye and Iggy did. The problem is you still lose rounds because of Wlad's foot work, jab and spoiling techniques. But you may stay competitive, then have the chance to up the pressure and outwork Wlad later in the fight. At that point, you may have a chance given his aging. I can't see any other path to victory.

Anybody who sits in the pocket with Wlad is getting destroyed as we've seen. Nobody can match his jab, hook and straight right...Superior speed, power and technique in that situation. Keep in mind, Jennings didn't move much the last couple of round and got tattooed with power shots as he sat in the pocket. Fury should copy Jennings plan though. Move early and attack the body in short spurts. If he stands in the pocket or attacks sloppily, Fury is getting sparked out. We shall see. It's an interesting fight for many reasons but I got Wlad by a left hook KO.

Then Waldo can go back to ducking Wilder, right :deal

I'd love to see a motivated Wlad come out and fight Fury, then Wilder, and look to seek and destroy both of them within 3 rounds a piece.

There is no question he could do it if he went back to his more aggressive style, sure he risks being hit but I don't think either of these guys have the skill to do it.

Wlad is going to bust Fury up. LOL @ anybody who seriously believed that Klitschko would duck him.

Wlad would never duck Fury -- as Fury brings BIG BIG UK TV money... that Wlad would otherwise not get. So Fury is more than welcome by Wlad's handlers.

Why you apologising to us, a lot of the country, including I'd say most of the Brit forum can't stand the guy.
