Much of this is in Japanese but there is some training footage and sparring footage which some might find interesting. The youngster is viewed as a big hope for the 2020 Olympics and has been compared with Akira Yaegashi and Naoya Inoue, who he has trained alongside,. For those who recognise his trainer that's Koji Matsumoto his father and a former world title challenger himself, who has been Yaegashi's primary trainer. Not sure if anyone is interested but that I'd share this all the same. [yt]ZdssID84zpo[/yt]
No one cares! ...I kid, I kid. This is the 15/16 year old right who has been a star in the junior amateur tournaments? Looks pretty good in the sparring footage. More excited about Maruta but Matusmoto certainly looks like someone I'll pop in to the memory banks.
I hear good things about Keisuke, footage look good. No sound as in watching in public but he look very good. Much better than daddy.
This was shown yesterday and shows Matsumoto in some recent amateur fights. Sadly it's the same presenters and the such, but at least it gives folk a chance to see how good the youngster is in an actual fight. The eagle eyed among you will probably spot a handful of notable fighters as well. [YT]IkGMy-HOUWs[/YT]
He's in the Light Flyweight final at tomorrows High School tournament, there is a public stream available by the looks of things.
Been told that stream will be available here- http://www.ustream.tv/channel/inhitv15-boxing-1 ATTN-MODS THIS IS A LEGAL STREAM TO AN AMATEUR TOURNAMENT SET UP BY THE ORGANISERS Supposedly 8 bouts to be shown, the ordering seems off though so not sure when Keisuke will be in action. The show begins at 10:30am Tokyo time, that's 2:30am UK time. So it will clash with the PBC stuff.
