If these two would've met when Bowe threw the WBC title in the bin, who would've won?

I've got Lewis on points. I imagine Bowe will tire going into the championship rounds which Lewis will win and seal the deal.

Lewi is to disciplined and professional. Bowes only chance is a lucky punch to that China chin.

I would imagine Lewis would be at close to his uber motivated best for this one too.

Bowe. At this stage Lewis was fearless and it would work against him. He'd trade at some point and it would cost him.

    Not this again...OK, I'll bite.

Seeing as Bowe "relinquished" the belt in order to avoid fighting Lewis, Bowe would, if he was being honest, probably vote for a Lewis stoppage, which is what I've voted for.

Despite some Bowe fans/apologists trying to spin this into a Bowe win because of Lewis being "chinny" or "too green" circa '93, Lewis was inside Bowe's head & Bowe didn't want to fight him.

Those who are old enough to have been there at the time (sadly that includes me) remember the scenario all too well, Lewis looked terrifying against Ruddock and Bowe threw the belt away to avoid him. Despite what some try to peddle, there was no political/promotional reason why Bowe binned the belt, he was just plain scared.

    It's that simple...

Stands back, with fingers in ear & awaits abuse...

Bowe tires? Even after going 12, twice, against someone with a hellacious work rate like Evander Holyfield? Yall must've forgot about Eddie Futch and that bug juice!

Andrew Golota beat the snot out of Bowe both times he fought him and exposed him. Lewis beats him anytime.

Is it just me that thinks Bowe beats this version of Lewis?

You could argue either way. I would pick Lewis Lewis ( Steward trained ) to win. Bowe didn't have good defense or focus outside of 1-2 fights in his career. Lewis jab and right hand would land too often.

Had the fight happened pre Andrew Golota's paint and foul job on Bowe, it’s a huge legacy boost for the winner.
