Can someone explain why Froch deserves to cherry pick?

Whether he won or lost vs Calzaghe it wouldn't have damaged his career, only enhanced it as Calzaghe is one of Britains greatest.

Is it luck if you win by KO in the 6th round? No its a 12 round fight and Froch beat him fair and square.

Dirrell fight was close and could have gone either way, so I think that in reflection is a fair result as Dirrell wasn't active enough to take a clear win and Froch wasn't effective enough or accurate enough to take a clear win but if you fight at home in a very close fight you always win. Something many fighters can put their wins down to.

He beat Glen, again closer than it should have been but nevertheless Froch won that fight.

He has fought at the top level for years and like many other top fighters, they get a world title fight whenever they want it. Unlike most he actually had the ***** to risk losing again instead of taking 3 or 4 easy fights first.

He lost to Ward so one card has no relevance on anything so it is in no way lucky as it didn't change the result.

Mack was a poor challenger but there have definitely been worse, I wouldn't call it lucky either as he wouldn't have earnt anywhere near as much money, and if anything it was a waste of a fight.

A round is 3 minutes long, it doesn't change for certain fighters, you are aware of that right? So your argument is invalid there, stoppage was poor but if it was given as a standing count instead of a stoppage Carl would have been ahead on the cards anyway.

Yes Carl was very lucky because he won a fight and made a lot of money? Really, he wins fair and square and he is lucky? Do me a favour.

Point 10 is your opinion and in no way lucky, that is just you showing your hate for him and therefore making your whole argument void.

He has no belt, I cannot see him getting a ppv fight for an exhibition.

I agree this is inconsistant with his mantra. Should have forced through the fight with Ward.

Or at the very least faught Degale. He went on forever about Calzaghe not facing him and then did exactly the same to Degale. And he doesn't even have the excuse that he's tight at the weight.

If the fans don't like whatever fight he is going to have, they shouldn't pay for the PPV or even go to the fight

Carls has/had a good reputation as a no nonsense fighter who took on challenges and was well respected world champ but his actions since GG2 have turned a lot of people off him and he may be remembered for this last year of his career petering out and making some silly comments while not fighting anyone
