Why not Mayweather - Bradley

Would anyone pay for it?

 

Don't be so sure Khan brings a country of fans with him. A lot in the UK don't like him (and also find Mayweather's act lame so won't even be that bothered about him losing) and recognise him more for his failures. You won't get that many stopping up till 5 in the morning for Khan v Mayweather.....

Brook v Mayweather though.....the nation would stop up to watch Mayweather's certain execution.

 

I agree and Ive wondered myself. Bradley would match up well.

Khan fight makes more sense than fighting a guy way bigger than you in Golovkin

 

The fact that Bradley is so good is exactly the reason the fight didn't happen, especially when Bradley was numer 3 p4p in Mayweather's weight class.

He's no plodder bum madina, so no, thanks.

I think the problem with Bradley is that he likes to be defensive, like JMM. If you fight Mayweather and try that, he'll be the more patient, so it forces a guy who wants to counter to be on the front foot. We'd be left with the Bradley who fought against Pacquiao the second time; throwing massive loaded shots but getting fairly wrecked by Mayweather. Fight makes sense though.

I've always wanted Mayweather to fight Khan, just because Khan's speed is something Mayweather's never really faced before and it could have Khan stealing a lot of rounds as May is sometimes a bit inactive. Just because I want Mayweather to beat the streak, I'd like to see him fight two guys like Bradley, Khan, Danny Garcia, Broner etc.

 

bradley has speed and stamina to go after floyd so he is a legit challenger. floyd runs so only fast fighters are qualified to fight/chase him.

I don't see Haymon and Arum working again unless it's for a rematch between FLoyd and Manny.

While I think Bradley vs mayweather would be a very good fight tactically speaking, it just wouldn't make that much money IMO. I doubt it would break 1 million PPV buys.

FLoyd has much better options- he could rematch Canelo, Cotto or Manny for a LOT more money than facing Timmy. But purely from a boxing fan standpoint, I'd love to see a fight between Mayweather and Bradley.
