If Floyd had a torn rotator cuff why was he raising both arms and holding belts?

    Hypocrisy of Floyd fans.

They say 'before the decision was announced, he didn't raise his left arm up' - yes, this was after the fight when there was no longer any need for excessive strain.
Most people had Castillo winning the fight, no matter how you cut the cake. Floyd blamed his shoulder injury for his performance. Floyd beat him in the rematch when healthy - go figure. The shoulder was obviously a reason.

He made decent use of his injured shoulder during the fight! Ha!

    Sweet irony.

Floyd is 45-2-1 in my scorecard. Lost to Pac, lost to Castillo, drew with Maidana in the first fight.

Most ppl well mostly everyone that isn't re****ed thought Floyd beat pacquiao no matter how you cut it. Only a re****ed fool thought maidana won 6 rounds or more and thought pac beat Floyd smh.

Floyd barely lift his left arm when he hold the belt which it wasn't longer then pac lift his right arm up.

Floyd told his corner his shoulder hurt while pac never told his trainer he torn his shoulder in the corner.

100% legitimate opinion. Fight can be scored either way or a draw (although iirc the point deductions make a draw more difficult to arrive at mathematically)

No he didn't. Maidana definitely gave him the best fight since Castillo, though. Havent watched the fight since last May but iirc i actually had Maidana up through 6 rounds. Floyd won close but clear, though.

Absolutely not. 8-4 to 10-2 Floyd is the acceptable range. This one wasn't close.

he claimed he tore his rotator cuff and was injured but look at him raising both arms whilst carrying both belts after fight.[/QUOTE]

If you watch it in slow-motion you'll see that both of Floyds arms were amputated after the fifth round. And his left leg was cut off after the ninth. Quite clearly it was an amazing performance by Floyd to not only win with just one right leg, but to hold the belts up too.

Maybe Manny felt that if he didn't raise both arms then he was admitting he lost, so he pushed through the agony because millions of people were watching him

Floyd's closest fight was against De La Hoya. I gave him that one 6-5-1. The Castillo thing is overblown after 15 years. How does a guy get robbed when he did nothing the first 6 rounds?

Maidana, puh-leeese, the second fight was closer. You don't get points in boxing for Mauy-Thai

"if floyd stayed still i could hit him" pathetic statement, from a pathetic person, with a pathetic fan base. why didnt pac man have any issues with algieiris movement? and its funny that floyd was in front of pac for the majority of this fight, a guy moves out of the way of an incoming glove, or moves to set a trap and its called running..

where was roaches 6 year gameplan? shouldnt pac have been prepared for a moving floyd since u all have been calling him a runner for years? why was pac mans footwork so horrible? why hasnt the trainer of the year taught him how to cut off a ring yet? why was pacs lead foot placement mediocre in this fight? where was the offense and angles?

I like how people are trying to downplay Floyd's win over Pacquiao, as if it's not a great win over an ATG.

Listen in between rds. I think it was the 7th. Pac said, "It hurts." and Roach said, "Are you alright?"

I've been saying, Floyd and Pac's shoulders weren't fully operating but they were both still using them, Mayweather clearly had more visible and auditory clues his shoulder was severely bugging him but Castillo caused him problems just as Maidana did where he was fully fit. It was part of the reason he lost to Castillo but not the main component, just like Pac, who had a farcical gameplan and was overly cautious after getting two hard right hand counters in the very first round. Mayweather's shoulder was a problem, this is boxing, it was still a fight he STAYED IN. I don't think manny's shoulder was as severe as they are making out congruent to ACTUAL serious shoulder injuries we've seen where they could barely move their arm to defend themselves.
