Well, you don't come on for years at at time, come on, and it's still full of know it all know **** Alls, gotta love the Internet [emoji23]
Dirrell schooled Froch. Was a home town robbery. Froch is a dirty fighter & should have been disqualified. Dirrell laid a beating on him
don't be stupid, the falling over and the like. he had good moments. 114-113 dirrell i think i had it, but unlike some on here have a life and ain't gonna waste any of it watching that back.
I'm that sad I watched it back and it looks worse than I remember. Froch was hitting thin air and put off balance, looked sloppy. Dirrel was countering and moving forward effectively, he's very quick. Dirrel also finished stronger than Froch 11,12 he battered him. I think Degale will beat him he's not the same figher and Degale has come on loads.
I thought Direll won the fight at the time. I didn't think he fought well at all, and the criticisms of his performance are valid. But Froch barely hit him with a clean punch, seemed to be using his face to block anything Direll did manage to throw, and resorted to wrestling blows like forearm smashes and backhanders to get a hit on target. Stumbling forward all night. It's hard to score points that way, surely.
Opinion on whether Froch won his fight with Dirrell is split between two camps: Those who appreciate boxing, speed, timing, footwork, accuracy, clean punching vs those who think Froch won.
Dirrell was in the wrong city that night, think he thought he'd arrived in London for the marathon but he wound up in Nottingham instead.
