I don't think it valid at all to compare the pre-modern contenders to the type of physical types that have come on, Wlad is simply too big for these men, but that says nothing about Marciano who was a 185 lber, not a 240 lber.
You see Charles,Moore, and Walcott as pre-modern? And, if he is too big for these men would that not apply to others of a similar stature?
In a sense yes it is, because they were his challengers and how they would do against other heavyweight champs helps us to assess not only their capabilities, but those of Marciano. Anything wrong with that?:huh

No 190lb fighter in history is beating Wlad. They wouldn't even have a mid range, even if they had the capacity to outbox him. The two ranges would be Wlad's punching range and clinch range.
