Yes because he is beginning to have a diva mentality too. He wants to fight Froch but says that Wards name is not big enough. Yet he has fought can after can on HBO that has not brought him squat and calls out Cotto and Canelo for not fighting him because he is not a big enough name. hypocrite:-(
Cotto will not fight him until he's made plenty of dough against softer touches, Canelo will be kept away until 2017, Mayweather is too small in reality and let's be honest it's a colossal risk for him to take when he'll be less motivated to take a risk after fighting a fellow ATG for an insane amount of cash even for him... he can keep on the same trajectory or start chasing Ward and the Cobra who seem more likely to take him on with him moving up too.
There are many potentially great Middleweights on the way up to feed to GGG for years to come, so no I don't think he needs to step up just yet.
He shouldn't move up before he cleans out his own division. At middleweight, he still needs to fight Andy Lee, Peter Quillin, Billy Joe Saunders, Chris Eubank Jr, Saul Alvarez, Miguel Cotto, the Ndam/Lemieux winner, and Daniel Jacobs.. Those are all top-level guys fighting at middleweight. So why does everyone want GGG to move up? Is it because you want to see him lose? Are you also calling for Floyd to move up to 160 and fight GGG?
