When monroe slugged it out instead of moving the other night he had more success. Monroe is no where near the fighter Froch is so if Froch goes to war Golovkin could be in trouble as his style of hunting will be negated.Froch could win this
I come to that conclusion through watching boxing rather than reading boxrec and trolling on boxing forums.
I just read froch told his team he wants this fight. Ggg is hittable and froch will land. This is a no-win fight for ggg. He takes his first loss or he wins and scares the cash cows away
Wow. I didn't think drastic predictions from either side are warranted for this epic showdown of two heavy handed fighters. 50/50 fight.
I'd be shocked if Froch isn't made a clear favourite by everysingle bookmaker TBH. And bookies are rarely wrong. And rightfully so Froch has size, natural weight, experience & resume/opponent advantages. It's not even that GGG has a 'youthful' age advantage ... he's 34 next birthday. Froch is 37.
Haha. Froch also has about 1/10th of the skills, Dirrell beat him, Groves and Kessler almost cleaned his clock. Anything other than an easy GGG win would shock me. If the fight happened that would be the first thing that shocks me.
Are you a child? If you're over the age of 15 and still coming up with incredibly asinine nicknames like "bumlovekin", I would have to feel sorry for your parents. Clearly, they were terrible at raising you. As for the topic, I would definitely be excited if this fight came off. I could see Froch's size and style presenting some problems to GGG, at least early on. If GGG were to do to him what he has done to everyone else, then the haters should jump on board the GGG express, or take their suitcase and keep on moving.
I will be almost a surprised if this happens as I was that Mayweather-Pacquiao happened. Froch simply doesn't need this fight, and would deserve MASSIVE credit if he takes it. If he won, it would be amazing.
Well Froch would be the massive favorite going into this IMO. If Froch won this it would be a solid win, but not a surprise IMO.
Odds will probably open at 1.8 GGG/2.0 Froch or something like that. Groves was dominating Froch for quite a long time, and Froch has been put down by Taylor and Groves. Froch can be outboxed by just about anyone and hurt by a few guys. He does well when his opponents have stamina/chin issues if they lack the power to get him out or the skill to dominate him. I think GGG has both.
Give me a break. Cotto came to MW and claimed the lineal title there and you're faulting the MW's for coming after him? You're a moron. Anyone holding the lineal title of a division is a legitimate target for anyone in that entire division, especially the guy ranked as #2 expressly because he lacks that lineal title. Biased much? Anyway, hopefully this fight will come off and Ward in the near future, assuming Ward stays at SMW.
