I actually love watching GGG fight, and whenever he is fighting on HBO, I always shoot texts to my casual fan friends to tell then to tune in.

But claiming he has "elite skills on par with Floyd" is quite ridiculous.

    Hog wash!

I root for non-Americans just as often as I root for Americans. In fact I can't even tell you the last time I rooted for an American heavyweight. It probably dates back to the late 80s when Tyson was peak.

does Lomo skills not match floyds, or rigos?

Rigos defensive skills make Floyds look amateur.

Lomo, and GGG have different skill-sets.

We're talking all round boxer here. not a defensive maestro.

Floyd could pull out a victory ... however, if he gets hit, jaws will be broken.

No need for him to take this fight, none at all. He should fight some welterweight

Rumsfield, can you answer me this Q?

Who is the more complete boxer.

    GGG or FMJ?

Its historically known, FMJ is a hit and run type of guy. One of the best ever.
GGG, just has better all round game.

GGG am record also ****s all over FMJ's am record.

So, boxing, skills,. the fundamental ones, just using the ring to your advantage. Cutting people off

Yeah, I'd favour the aggressor, with a height, weight and reach advantage in this fight at 160lbs.
If Manny fought GGG at 160lbs, Manny would be put to sleep, early.
    Cotto would be.

Floyd didn't hit and run against Mosley, Oscar, Cotto, Maidana, etc etc

I have to ask, are you joking with these statements?

Floyd is THE MOST complete fighter of our generation. Easy. He beat Pacman by fighting elusive, with a lot of footwork. He beat Mosley and Judah by walking them down. He beat Oscar and Cotto by allowing them to attack and laying on the ropes a lot, countering. He can fight going forwards, backwards, sideways, laying on the ropes, or standing in the middle of the ring

    Wtf are you missing??

Amateur record? Too bad his pro record doesn't have a win over an elite fighter on it, or a lineal title yet lol

You can feel the desperation coming from most of these responses. Golovkin is literally the last Mayweather boogeyman whose nuts the disillusioned haters can hang off of.

Then again, if Mayweather did fight him and win, (pretty sure he won't fight him, really not sure about who would win) it would be groundhog day all over again, and the haters would make Ward the new boogeyman and claim Mayweather needs to move up to 168 or "his legacy will suffer".

He beat Pacman(Who had an injury going into the fight)
I'll take his arm in a sling(photos) and his doctor saying he did have a shoulder injury over your take on the proceedings.
He beat shot Mosley and shot Judah?
(Where was FMJ during the early 00's for either of these fights?)
He beat over the hill Oscar by close decision.
Cotto give him hell. Shot cotto. Early version cotto would SD FMJ
Early Marg eats FMJ up and spits him out.

Yeah, its easy too look good vs past prime fighters. That's all we did here today, baby. x

I'm one of those people who says FMJ has a "pass" on the GGG train.

    Too big, too good.
But, if FMJ, beats cotto and declares himself the champ at 160 and than retires. Christ, what a legacy.
