    We can't call him "one time" anymore.

  2. Nah, Collazo ain't no punk. He can take a punch, but his last few opponents can't hit like Thurman. Especially "the British TKO fraud" Queen Khan.

    Thurman can get him outta there early if he plants his feet and hits that jaw to the point that the ref calls it off.:good

    Looking at his recent string of opponents and his inability to stop them I think 'bum time' is now more appropriate :deal

    Thurman has heavy hands, but I think he's shown that he ain't no KO artist. He's already stated after the Bundu fight that he just doesn't take the risk to end the show if he doesn't feel its coming. Thurman will have good power in his career, but as his level of competition gets better, the "one time" nickname is obviously not gonna reflect anymore.

    He may stop Collazo though. Collazo clearly mentally gave up in his fight with Khan and was dropped a surprising amount of times. Khan just didn't physically have the strength to fully stop him. Thurman might if he shows that same level of weakness.

    I doubt Keef stops Collazo, I dont think he'll even drop/hurt him as easily as Khan did

    Seriously? This is what you bring to this board? It is bad enough that the above sentiment even went through your head, but, to compound the issue, you go and type it out and then post it.

    All those check points and you never once thought to stop?

    Let me help you out;

    He didn't stop Bundu, a guy who had never been beaten before, and Guerrero, a guy who had never been stopped and is hard as nails.

    But hey, lets just look at the result of his last two fights as if all's we knew about Thurman were his last two entries on Boxrec.

    I take it context and nuance are alien to you?

    What would we call him then?

    "Once upon a time" ?

    Honestly it's a smart fight to take because stopping Collazo would make Thurman look pretty damn good.

    I bet once Keith Thurman stops Collazo, there will be no calls from mr mayweather who is ducking the young dog.

    I don't believe he'll stop Collazo, Collazo is a tough out for anyone, he's not gonna fold. Keith will beat him comfortably on the outside.

    I like the Keith "Sometimes" Thurman that someone came up with before.
