emphasis on like...ie Boxing politics have nothing to do with this. I only included fighters who have recently campaigned at WW or JrMW
Amir khan speed will not allow Floyd to run around the ring. Also Golovkin may also be a good choice. We need a good and very tough fight and it is possible with both these opponents.
Andrade, simply because in terms of size and style he's the furthest removed from the guys Mayweather has been feasting on in recent times. Don't get me wrong, Guerrero, Alvarez, Maidana and Pacquiao are all good fighters (don't think Manny has been 'great' for a while now, although he unquestionably was at his peak) and it's great how Mayweather is able to diffuse and dissect them, but they were all a good fit for him stylistically and the kind of guys you'd expect him to shine against. I'd just like to see him in there with a really slick and pure boxer again before he calls it a day. And Andrade's style along with his size would be a real test on all levels for Floyd right now, I think. Unfortunately I think Andrade is going to be the Winky of his own time.
Khan. If Khan wins, then happy does as I don't like Mayweather as a person. If Mayweather wins, then happy days as I don't like Khan as a person
Cotto rematch or GGG @ 154. Bradley and Thurman would also be good choises. Not interested in rematches for Pacquiao or Canelo. Neither in fights with Khan, Garcia, Peterson, Andrade. Mayweather vs Broner would somehow be funny. Would be the first time since more than a decate that Mayweather is the more symphatic guy in the ring ... and that's not easy
Andrade doesn't deserve it, but its a fight id like to see. Andrade would give him Floyd a lot to think about.
