    I'm a big fan of Linares' he was the second appreciation thread I did, so I always root for him, Linares' power and skill level will be far too much for Mitchell who I'll admit has improved quite a bit, but he's still packing glass in my opinion, which is far more fragile than Jorge's which will again be his downfall.

    He has a beatiful style. I love to watch him, but like Super Hans said, he has paper skin.

    His main problems ordered by severity were stamina, chin and skin. The latter two can't so much be cured as compensated for with improved defense (very much not Freddie Roach's specialty), but the former can definitely be improved and is Roach's forte.

    Well Linares was leading on points and boxing beautifully with his nose basically hanging off of his face against DeMarco and he didn't run his head into their punches, it was just one of those freak shots from DeMarco that did it, and the fight was stopped way too early IMO. Although its been awhile since I've seen the match I thought it was premature. As far as the Thompson match, that should not have been waved off, another BS stoppage in my estimation, Thompson dropped him but his feet were fine and he could have continued.
