If boone and Bika had a love child, it would have a very ugly grandmother, but it would also be able to KO Ward.
Once Gennady starts taking on the weakest belt holders, and draining the fucc outta them (not to mention ducking the test) .... then you can start comparing this legit ATG to your false prophecy
First of all, I give him his due respect, and I do so "genuinely". I have repeatedly stated that I think he beats anyone 160 and below, despite the fact he hasn't exactly beaten anyone special to date. I still continue to maintain that he would beat anyone at 160, and I think he beats most in thoroughly dominant fashion. If that's not "genuinely giving this guy his due" I don't know what to tell you. The highest KO% in the history of middleweight means absolutely nothing at this point when considering his complete body of work as a professional. My question marks regarding GGG have always stemmed from those who automatically believe that he will be as effective at 168 as he is at 160. He won't, because he's not struggling to make 160. His power will not have the impact it has at 160 and given his style, he'll be eating punches from bigger and stronger guys who can better absorb his shots. That's not to say I don't think he will have success at 168. I think he can, and he will. But he hasn't beaten any truly outstanding middleweights to date. So people picking him over guys like Froch is premature to say the least. I think The Cobra gets fired up and does a number on him, but I'd be thrilled to be proven wrong, because then that would set-up a mega-bout between Cobra conquerors Ward and Golovkin. But I'm afraid The Cobra is going to derail another potentially big fight for Ward by getting to the target first, and exploiting it. :smoke
Abraham Ian Gardner UD12 (Golovkin beat him more clearly) Howard Eastman UD12 (former european champion) Velazco KO5 (former Champion) Kofi Jantuah UD12 (former light middleweight contender) Edison Miranda UD12 (2 time Contender) Lajuan Simon UD12 (Golovkin knocked him out) Golovkin Lajuan Simon KO1 (Abraham beat him on points) Ouma TKO10 (former WW champion) Macklin KO2 (3 time Contender) Geale TKO3 (former unified Champion) Murray TKO11 (3 time Contender) Rubio KO2 (interims Champion, former contender) GGG 33 fights @160 30 KO's = 91% Abraham 28 fights @160 23 KO's = 82% This content is protected
GGG Fans live in a dream land where they think Triple Duck is god!! Fact its that until GGG Step in the ring and fights a real fighter, we will know how good he is! Fact its that his resume its mediocre!! Theres nothing in the world that can change that, everything else its there fans fantasy!
Fair enough Rummy. Agree with a lot of that But the Only mega bout would be Froch GGG That would probably sell out Wembley once again (GGG is massive over here) I know you love him, but very few people give a damn about Ward Cobra fight is a massive risk - for both - but enormous money in it War Cobra
Rubio has 51 KOs out of 59 wins looks like a puncher to me Which fighter @160 should Golovkin fight to prove himself ? Cotto is obviously afraid
he fought at 160 since 2006 and has 21 Kos in 29 fights well he holds a middlewright belts sinces a year and defends it at f**ing catchweight He could say " I'm no middleweight i'm afraid " and give the belt to GGG and erverything would be ok, but he defends the belt vs Golovkin leftovers (Geale) at catchweight
I don't think Froch has the best shot against Golovkin at 168 at all. I actually think stylistically that Froch might as well enter the ring on a silver platter for Golovkin.
