Dubai like doing stuff to put them on the world map, even if it loses loads of money, with plenty of rich arabs and phillipino ex pats the fight could make sense

I agree, imagine how big Floyd vs Khan would be in Dubai, but Khan would have so much of a home field advantage Floyd would never do it.

Khan vs Pacquiao in Dubai would still be huge support for Khan obviously, but more people would travel to support Manny from the Philippines than people would travel to support Floyd from USA.

Khan and Pacquiao have a much more hardcore fanbase internationally than Floyd does. Floyd would get completely rattled if he were to fight Khan in Dubai. He might even be too scared to come to the ring. That's why he doesn't want to ever leave the MGM Grand, his comfort zone. But Manny Pacquiao and Khan have no problem fighting all over the world.

 

Amir Khan beats Floyd in September, then beats Pac in Dubai in 2016. Khan goes down as an ATG top 5 and the greatest fighter of this era.

 

You think pac lied about the injury? I get it that his extreme fans are annoying, but you think the injury was bogus? Just curious.

 

Absolutely not, I just don't believe it's as severe as they made it sound. I don't think if he was 100% or 60% it would've changed the outcome of the fight. And how convenient is it? It's over, I'm over it.
