The last time Floyd fought a prime black fighter was Zab Judah, and Zab knocked Floyd down in round 2. Floyd decided never to do that again.

Now Floyd should be fighting Erislandy Lara and Keith Thurman, but we know he won't do it because he drew the color line many years ago!

When there was talk about PBF fighting Alexander people here were up in arms. The truth is no matter who he fights people will cry and make excuses after.

FM isn't going to stand and trade with fighters. We all know this! He moves! We know this! So the question isn't why does FM "run" but, why can't his opponents cut the ring off against him. We all know what to expect from FM. He shuts the majority of his opponents offense down with ease. Bottom line he made the great Manny look average , that's what FM does! He makes very good fighters look bad and makes great ones look average. We were expecting more because Manny is a damned good fighter but, he didn't have the juice to get the job done. Once again, FM put on an excellent defensive show. Fan friendly...no! Impressive non the less... hell yes!

 

a good atg boxer but not atg fighter. his is skilled but not tested to really gauge his greatness. his talkings of even playing field with the drug testing and then not transparent when it mattered and making all undue advantages to ensure a win. he avoided the welter weight division when it was hot, selected slow opponents, timed past prime opponents, not honoring a catch weight, sucker punching for a ko, and fighting amateur style does not speak well of a true atg fighter in professional boxing.

"9 years" is convenient for this point. Because if you go back 2 years before then, you can add former champions Judah, Bruseles, and Corley.

The reason he has only fought one black opponent in recent years is because the only one truly worthwhile was either at 140 or signed with Top Rank when he moved up (Bradley). The other black contenders at 147 aren't chosen as his opponent because he fights those that are better/higher ranked.

 

Like I said before name 50 fighters better than him. You can't do it and you won't do it.:hi:
