SRL, I think would win easier than expected, he simply has more tools at his disposal. I would guess if it were a 15 rd fight, it would be something like 9-6 or 10-5.

SRL UD 12, or KO 14. Ring made a great point that SRL didn't dominate at the elite level, but always produced at the key moments: Hearns, Benitez, etc. It took Ray a while to crack Floyd Sr.'s defense so I don't think SRL has an easy time. However, Ray has too many offensive tools, experience, and determination. SRL's hunger makes Floyd look like an anorexic. Haha Ray was a fighter who wanted to prove himself by beating the best, cut from a different cloth. Being a natural welter to boot, Sugar takes this.

Not too many will have success as a naturally smaller fighter against SRL. Floyd won't get away with nicking the rounds, Leonard can flurry strong at the end.

Floyd struggled in 2007, against Oscar, who who in my opinion is a poor mans Leonard, no brainer here Leonard wins a comfortable UD, I just don't see May doing well here..

I'll be the guy to say Floyd wins. Floyd has better footwork, conditioning, counterpunching, and ring generalship. He also hasn't had to put 100% into a fight to get the win to date, so he might have a little more than he's shown so far. People like to point at Benitez for why Leonard would win, but Benitez nicked like 1/3 of the rounds and was worse than Floyd.

^^^ I'm not particularly opposed to this. But I agree with the others. SRL is simply a better fighter, head-to-head, imo. And I don't even like SRL that much. Personally, I think that he's a bit overrated.

As Sugar Ray Leonard is and will always be my number #1 pfp favorite of all time and as I am a fan of Floyd "Money" Mayweather, I'll go as far to say that in a best of three fight series between these two stylistic defensive greats SRL takes it 2-1 over May.

"Money" May surprises Sugar Ray taking the first fight by a fairly
close but convincing decision and then Ray comes back and wins both the sequel and trilogy by tough decision victories (all three fights going the full real championship distance of 15-rounds each) and leaving the fans and sport of boxing with another one of its greatest trilogies and rivalries to be remembered by.

Forget the 3 fight series.Once Ray gets to him, Floyd won't want a rematch.Ray had the high IQ and the fast hands to deal Floyd the death blow. Ray by 14th round kayo.
