What/Where next for Dirrell?

    Soooo back to square 1 for Dre Dirrell again.

    I feel he won tonight but whatever what's done is done...time to move on.

    Where does he go next? What I mean is will he go back into hibernation/hiatus again or will he move on, learn from this fight and improve? He's only 31, one of the most gifted guys in the whole sport and hasn't boxed a massive amount so shouldn't be too burnt out.

    Obviously the mental aspect of his career is the big one. He has major issues...he vanished. Let's face it, the vast majority of Boxing fans were not too long ago asking questions such as "Where is Andre Dirrell? Has anyone heard from Andre Dirrell? Is he still Boxing? What is his story?". It was not too long ago also that he posted on social media that he was looking for "work" in south Florida. Like wtf :lol::lol: Dirrell clearly has mental issues and could easily go off the walls again unless Haymon and his team secure him a fight soon and keep him grounded.

    His team need to manage him correctly now. I think pursuing a rematch with DeGale would be the best fit for him now. Either that or an Abraham rematch but that's unlikely due to the events in the first fight. A fight with Ward would make some sense, but he hasn't a hope in hell of winning that. The Froch rematch is out of the question as of 2015...

    Wher does he go now?

    I imagine he became a high risk/low reward opponent right now. He needs to keep busy and get ranking against mediocre opposition and grab a mando status for later next year.

    your no true supporter didnt even back him :p

    theres no great options he'll just have to work the rankings. cant see anybody big who hell beat comfortably that could get made

    That would be an easy fight, and the very first time me rooting for Dirrell against J'Leon. Tonight was the first time for me rooting for DeGale.
