Clearly not promoting if my stream jumped and I am complaining If anything it made me learn a valuable lesson :think
I had it either a draw or win for DeGale. I'm not sure why DeGale was running after round 5, Dirrell was the home fighter, and if those haven't been extremely generous scorecards, DeGale could of lost it. You can make a case for Dirrell winning the last 2 rounds, but not in my scorecard. I felt as though he could of won more convincingly, Dirrell was clearly hurt in the 5th, guy was wobbly as ****.
First 4 rounds to DeGale + 2 KD's and then the last two rounds to DeGale (12th round was a clear DeGale round) Close but clear winner.
Didn't score properly but imho, I had it razor thin for Degale. Dirrell outboxed him in most of the second half but Degale was four points up after the first two on my card and Dirrell just didn't quite have enough rounds left to claw it back. Fascinating fight, enjoyed it thoroughly and would love to see them compete again. I'm stoked that Degale won, but feel for Dirrell as he fought a great fight. The man has huge talent and more than proved himself against we 'the internet' critics. Voted 1-2 rounds Degale. Razor thin.
I thought Dirrell nicked it by a round, but have no probs witha darw or win by a point either way. 117 - 109 was unfair to both fighters.
Without the KD's it was either a draw or a very close DeGale win. With the KD's it's around 3-4 points. 114-112 or 115-111 seems fair.
117-109? I only peeped at the 114-112 because I had to use the bathroom. Jesus Christ, that's absurd.
