MVC, out of interest, why were you so sure the fight would go in favour of Dirrell? Did you see enough evidence to suggest that DeGale's chin would be more than checked or something? What made you so abundantly sure that a fairly balanced fight would certainly and undeniably go the way of one fighter?

Dirrell got beat, and never was nor ever will be more than a decent top10 contender. It is what it is.

Sure it wasnt the correct pick and Degale had to go through the tough European scene for a long time. Consider how for Degale to win the British title, he had to face a fighter that Andre Ward is only fighting now at a catchweight that I doubt favours Smith.
Whats amazing is how many are commenting on MVCs prediction when it was not correct, but were not as willing to make prediction threads themselves and then feel they can comment after the event.
