    He get ranking because he become Internet cult. He not even good enough to get into JBC top 5 at either weight never mind world 15. Very sad if he died though.

    Yeah, the fact that he became something of a pet cause célèbre among internet boxing fans (especially on BoxRec, who lo & behold are the ones that rated him #12 in the world) had a lot to do with it.

    As for him dying, I'm skeptical until we get more than a freaking Tweet. His page on Wikipedia got edited over the weekend to say he died and it quickly blew over as unsubstantiated.

    Just because some bombs were coincidentally dropped on Sanaa and some people decided to name-drop him on social media as being among the casualties (not saying it can't be true, but likelier classless trolling) doesn't mean anything. Twitter isn't a verifiable news source, last I checked.
