Realistically, who would you like to see Degale face up against in his next fight in September/October?

Got to be Groves. The SMW division is weak at the moment, unless Eddie can get Abraham for DeGale there is no-one else out there worth facing.

Would never happen but would like him to end the Rocky Fielding hype, out of your list though would like him to fight Abraham with both titles on the line, again won't happen though

Won't be groves yet as Groves has his world title shot first and if he wins that Eddie will convince himself and everyone else it does 80,000 at Wembley

Was going to add Fielding and Smith but neither were going to happen so I just left them out of it. Only added Bute too as he is one that has been spoken about.

Mikel Kessler for me. Still a solid and dangerous fighter and it would give us a better indication on how good he's become. Groves is too early as he needs a strap and fight hype.

Abraham might not happen as DeGale will be seen as too dangerous an opponent, plus I've never rated Abraham at SM. He is one of the weakest SMs out there.

    Isn't Kessler retired?

He is retired but was willing to fight either Froch or Ward. Probably won't fight DeGale then...

Fielding beats Vera then gets fed to Degale. Stopped within first 6.
    Then Groves Degale II.

Would like him to get in with AA in order to set up 3 titles on the line against Groves (assumin groves does Jack) thats the only way Wembley will get close to being a sellout (still doubt it sells out). I very much doubt that AA will accept the fight with Degale tho so he will prob end up fighting Paul Smith ! Cheers Eddie lol

I'd quite like to see a rematch against Andre Dirrell in the UK around that time of the year. The fight was razor tight and really the decision could have gone either way, even with the two knock-downs for DeGale. However, I suspect Eddie would rather steer clear of Andre Dirrell for the time being. I actually think DeGale could end up fighting Anthony Dirrell next, decent name to have on the resumé and a fight he should have no trouble in winning. Ticks a few boxes.

Froch or Groves but neither will happen next. Wouldn't mind seeing a Dirrell rematch or Abraham in the UK.

Still holds the WBA super title doesn't he? I know he's fighting smith at a heavier weight but I thought that was just coz he has been out for so long
