I've only watched a couple of Selby fights, but he seems to be too technically sound for the crude Gradovich who I see as a come foward fighter with very little power. I can't stand pressure boxers like Santa Cruz, and Gradovich that have little power. I've seen a lot of Gradovich fights, and the only way I see him winning is with volume and maybe overwhelming Selby, but I don't see it happening. Has anyone seen some Selby fights where he's struggled against a style similar to Gradovich? The odds for Gradovich on the vcash betting are very good, I need some convincing to put some cash on him.
I think Gradovich is a type of fighter who's a tough fight for anyone, he brings in a lot of pressure, good chin and great work-rate. I think it will be a close fight, I don't really rate Selby as highly as some other people, I don't think he'll be able to just completely neutralize what Grado brings to the table. I may be wrong though, I often am in all honesty.
Yeah the only thing I can see Gradovich giving selby trouble with is overwhelming him with pressure and volume. It's a shame the guy doesn't pack much of a punch though.
Gradovich isn't special, he's limited technically and doesn't have power. I'd love to see Gradovich take out another UK boxer, but I don't put my personal feelings in when I make a pick and I always keep things real. I can't see him winning.
Gradovich should make it competitive and will probably have his moments, but Selby will out box him and get a clear decision. The only real advantage Gradovich has over Selby is experience. Neither one of them can really punch, so it will surely come down to boxing and Selby has quite an edge in boxing ability and movement.
