If it's the date stated then there's not a suitable venue of the required size available in the UK. And I don't think an outdoor fight would be the best idea in November.

RJJ's biggest weapon will be a lightning quick uppercut on the inside. If calzaghe charges in with his hands down expect to see him catch a few of these.

I don't think Calzaghe has the power to hurt RJJ. I wouldnt argue that hes shot but i dont see Calzghe hurtin him.

Yes it does. It also has Rugby Union internationals (Wales v Canada and Wales v New Zealand) on November 14th (evening kick off) and November 22nd which will require the pitch being inside the stadium and in good condition.

Even if it's technically feasible to remove the pitch from the stadium and have it ready to stage an indoor event in less than 24 hours (I'm not sure it is and doubt it), the chances of the Welsh Rugby Union being willing to hire out the stadium for this seven days before a money spinning match against New Zealand are fairly slim imo.

I will be amazed is RJJ wins this fight at the current level he is on. No doubt he is still good and probably the second best light heavy still active but Calzaghe has the beating of him at the moment. I would even say that due to how RJJ fights now that Calzaghe could grab a stoppage, if the fight is open.

His mate Gary Lockett (who his father is training) is fighting Pavlik next month. All he is doing is showing common courtesy.

Do you expect him to come out and dismiss someone from the same gym as having no hope ??

    Be realistic.

Why would the fight at 168? I thought that JC had said he could not make the weight any more. What about jones? Would this not be a stretch for them both?

I have NO idea where you got that from my post. It was strictly about Pavlik and Calzaghe. No mention of Lockett other than Joe would probably be at his event against Pavlik.
